that same game for me. was gutted at the end, thought we had done it and was still celebrating adebayors goal when that penalty happened.

Yup worst ones for me too, heartbroken by those too defeats.

Wayne Bridge was a bad one too, we royally f*cked that one up when we should have cruised through, that was our chance to win the CL and we blew it.

In many ways it was a great game.... for us anyway. Played us off the park for 20 odd minutes and then it was a bit of a see saw from then. Sami's perfect header, Torres at his best smashing one in, Adebayor missing a sitter, nobody snapping Walcott on his run, utter confusion when Gerrard was standing over a penalty seconds later and Babel trying to get in on the act.

Really was a Special Anfield Night.

And in the first leg, Bendtner on the line.

    Those were the days.

    Nayim was horrible.

I also must admit to being little bit upset when four up at Newcastle...and then...
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

Most corrupt display you'll ever see.

How they finished with 11 players I'll never know. Should have been down to 8.

really was a great game for the neutral. i just thought we had done it when adebayor scored, and after knocking milan out the game before, i thought that could have been our chance.

i still remember adebayor after scoring, on his own celebrating trying to take all the credit for the goal
