Not an unreasonable statement. If Chambers is anything to go by though, it would be nice to think that the standard of our 'projects' has jumped up a level? Pet projects are fine if the rest of the team is sorted. Rabiot could be left until Jan if he's a project. All energy should be spent on a proven DM & goalscorer.
Hmm he played 25 games in Ligue 1 for PSG last season, so he's not a project in the same way as a Yaya Sanogo....he obviously seems highly rated so I'd be happy for us to go for him.
Reports say he's only started 12 of those games. That sounds like a pet project. He's only 19 and hasn't played much football. 56 games in total.
Seems Roma have nicked ahead of us in that deal aswell.
