could be a good move it it happens but still quite a gamble - you lose nothing if its a loan but at a time when you need more certainties to bolster the team, you have to hope he wouldn't be the only wide player to join you
I rate Adam Johnson tbh. Massive step up from no goals/no assists downing tbh, and probably better than walcott in the wide role tbh.
johnson is still just potential rather than someone that has proven he can deliver across a season. i think he looks like a very good player but there are still quite a few questions to be answered.
it looks like walcott has stepped up to the plate, which will be confirmed either way this season.
