I kinda get what NQ is saying, but there are always other issues here.

On a football pitch, yeah, it's just petty name calling, and is not going to cause people much bother personally. But in an environment where kids are watching their idols, isn't it better that the powers that be (corrupt or not) deal with it with punishment befitting the knob who said it? I'd far rather a cunt on 100k a week was given an 8 match ban, than have nothing happen "because it's not harmed anyone". I'd rather kids watching had some indication that racism is wrong, and isn't tollerated in this country.

Perhaps leave it to the parents to ensure their kids aren't racist shits and grow up knowing the difference between right and wrong? You're correct though, there's a lot of issues involved here and as far as I see it most of them revolve around public abdication of responsibility. We let government, think (lol) tanks, the most fucked up media we've ever had, the most fucked up judicial system we've ever had, assume responsibility for the issues we should be dealing with ourselves. These fuckers then collaborate to find out the best way to profit from these issues and then they feed us instructions on how we'll think, what we'll say and how we'll behave. The people then nod in agreement because the cunt telling them what to do has a string of establishment letters attached to his name with a media choir singing his praises and nodding wisely that this is the guy or the committee or the quango to set things to right. When we learn to tell these wankers to fuck off then things will improve. But not before.

Don't forget, Nanny is moving into the child care business too. You think back to when you were a kid and compare it to today. The fucking state is everywhere, telling you how it is going to be. And there's a whole stream of busybodies lined up to tell you how to raise your kids. As I said, there's so much shit in our society now it seems incredible so much energy would be expended on such a trivial incident as somebody falling out with that twat Evra - I mean that's BOUND to happen, right? The guys a cunt, people are going to get pissed with him. What's the big deal? Great if we have time to deal with such trivia provided we are taking care of the big stuff, but we aren't, we let that slide without a mention. And the more of this shit we allow ourselves to be dragged into the more important it will SEEM and the less chance there will ever be of doing something constructive as the real issues get buried. Anyway, we can't do anything about this shit. It's on rails, we've let it slide too far.
