Booting should have been off and that would ave swung it all in our favour. But the ref decided to ignore the rules. He sure as hell stretched to apply them in every conceivable way against ches though. It's a euro thing.

Another euro farce. That cunt ref didn't spot a single fucking thing they were up to, apart from a pen that wasn't. Booked the shit out of us for doing fuck all. Same old. I think we gave it a go in the 1st half, we started really well and their defence wobbled, unfortunately we missed our chances.

I think the turning point was the sending off (you can't really argue with that as Chesney did clatter him), Bayern then passed it around "Barca" style and it was tough going for us.

Some good performances out, wasn't expecting a win so not too disheartened, think we need a bit more quality, but agree that Bayern aren't all that amazing.

PSG look a good bet to me.

Sorry for focussing on this. I agree with the whole of your post, but this part stands out for me. Whenever I look at Ozil for longer than i care to remember now, he does not look like doing anything.

He looks like someone that does not want to be here. This is highly worrying because if he does not change his outlook, real damage is going to be done to this Club. We can't take a £42m hit, but increasingly, it is looking precisely like it is going to happen.

There is no excuse for this. He is shortchanging everyone at this Club. Seriously, if you're a footballer and you can't be arsed to put in an effort for a night like this, then you should just fucking retire and get a dead end office job to match your complete absence of motivation.
