Apparently, according to shareholders of Arsenal Song has reiterated on many occasions the type of team he could be playing for and Arsenal should step it up. He has apparently fallen out with SOME players in the changing rooms and Wenger on occasions. (Via Shareholders on twitter)

Sahin and M'vila/Wanyama in, Song out - I could live with that. It's a shame it would happen just before or just as the season is starting. Why doesn't the window close before the season starts?

It's just so disappointing to see all this crap coming from players. Makes you wonder what the hell is going on. Is it just a lack of trophies and less than maximum wages? Is it the understanding that Arsenal are no longer a 'top' club - attractive in many ways yes, but no longer one who can or should expect to win trophies year in and year out? Is it just individuals doing what individuals do?
