I like Giroud a lot, I think he's got a lot of qualities that really benefit the team. Early season he was key to the shape of the side, really integral. Though lately he's looked like his heart isn't in it. Maybe he's tired, maybe he wants to leave, who knows?

    Play Akpom, tbh.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

He was never clinical infront of goal, but he did give us an outlet early on in the season. He made runs, and held the ball up decently.

    He's shot now.

    Akpom/Sanogo it is.

i fear for us if we are to play Sonogo or Akpom. 4th place could be at risk... Giroud is still our top goalscorer, crazy people would prefer a average player and raw talent with no big game experience over him.

We might as well play Sanogo, Akpom or whatever reserve we have.

It's no secret we'll be going big for a striker in the summer. Podolski and Giroud may well be considering their futures so I'm not convinced their mind is in the right place anymore, leaving us with no viable options up front. How has this happened?

Glad he's dropping Arteta and Giroud, they have bpth been shit for months. Chesney has done well all season apart from the last couple of games but i have no problem with Flaps.

I'd be surprised if he drops Chesney. Although maybe he wants to give Fab a mini-run of games before Wigan just to keep him sharp.

    Arteta and Giroud though..

Still too little too late though and would just cover up deep flaws.
You say 'deep flaws' but if we win tonight we're 4 points off the top with 7 games left each.
I don't think for one second we're winning the league this year but despite the 3 away thumpings we're not a million miles away.

I'm not sure it's worth dropping Chesney but he has been clowning around a bit lately. Taking risks that he shouldn't but I'm sure he's learned his lesson and should be given a chance to prove himself.

I have no problem with him dropping Arteta. A terrible display over the weekend and a poor captain. Same goes for Giroud.

I think Wenger should just give Podolski a run of games up front and get him off the wings. Give him a last shot there to see if he makes a difference because he's the best finisher in the squad and his style of play made need time to get used to. We should also shift Ox back to the flanks and give Gnarby a chance.
