Funny how little England were missed once they went out. Even the media couldn't be arsed.

It is so long ago, it is like they were never in the competition.

    Which they never were.

    Keown's bizzare ratings:

    MESUT OZIL - 6.5
Looked up for the game, worked hard off the ball. However, didn’t do enough in possession in final third.

    MIROSLAV KLOSE - 7
A bit quiet. He’s a finisher and was too reliant on everybody else bringing him into the game. Didn’t have legs to keep up.

What's happening now is they are all buying into the agenda by default. How can a player who didn't have the legs and was quiet (according to Keown), rate higher than a player who worked hard, though apparently didn't to enough with the possession (in fact he set up at least two great chances with very tidy play so Keown is talking bullshit anyway)? This isn't even about opinions any more, it's about sheep with their noses stuck in the arsehole of the sheep in front, being led by whoever's dragging the first dumb animal. Who started this Ozil nonsense, was it the Daily Mail by any chance?

He rated Messi 7.5, the same as Schweinsteiger. Ridiculous. Again, not a matter of opinion just a blind eye to the facts.

Now Keown must know a hell of a lot about football, having played at the top level for many years. So why would he come out with shit like this? Or does he even do the ratings? Maybe he just pins his name to shit made up by some backroom turd? However the stuff is squeezed out, it stinks.

Ozil, Per and Podolski win the FA cup then world cup, just in time to get back to Arsenal and win the premier league.

Fully deserved victory for The German Machine. All of Argentina's chances came from mistakes or rebounds or the ref giving them a continual advantage. Only one team was playing football. You'd think Brazil were still in the tournament the amount of leeway the dirty Argies were getting. Somehow they finished with eleven men.

Awlsome goal to win it. Germany were a bit sloppy with their final passes tonight but were still actually trying to win it in extra time. Schweinsteiger wiped away his indifferent recent form with a monstrous display. Muller was as integral as always. Ozil was classy and was let down by Kroos' pub-team finishing. Lahm back to his best as well. Boateng excellent. It's hard to dislike Neuer's contributions.

Messi dreadful again. But his aimless, uncontrolled, unfocused running into a melee of defenders was apparently mesmerising. He was definitely player of the tournament though . Once again it was only their defensive players who came out with any credit.

Beautiful to see Klose and Schweinsteiger crying at the end tbf. And Ozil stealing another trophy.

Football showing signs of life .
