We've made a right mess of this transfer window to be honest, we've had all summer to indentify and sign players and yet we're into the last week and haven't done the necessary, except for largely signing kids.

Nasri and Cesc have been on their way out for a while and yet we've had noone lined-up, surely we must have known about their departures everyone else did after all, reminds me of when Wenger was adamant Flamini would stay and he left (and we'd let Diarra go in the January transfer window).

Going into the last week teams aren't going to want to sell their best players, why would they...they'd have no time to replace them, it's really stupid to leave it this late and think we could get what we needed. The Cesc/Nasri saga's dragged on all summer and now we're short of players with no signings in sight, we should have tried to push through the transfers (particularly Cesc), in the end we got a low fee for him which we could have got at the start of the summer.

Our transfer dealings have been shoddy for years now, we need someone to sort this out and deal with transfers more logically and efficiently, we've really made it hard for ourselves...through a total lack of common sense IMO.

The way the whole club is run needs a revamp.

Yup and that's the reason we should have had someone lined-up, we've done this before selling top players without having a replacement in place.

I don't get why we never seem to learn from previous mistakes.
