Still thing we'll get 4th, we barely deserve it based on our performances in the big games this season though, not really convinced there's been that much progress anymore this season, the attack has been poor and the defence has selectively fallen apart in some games.

The defence has looked a lot better this year, we've got results in games where last year we were dropping points, but the capitulations away against the top 5 have been disgraceful and from a genuine title contender we're now scrapping around to stay in the top 4. I have a feeling we will do it but by now it should be way beyond doubt.

Only the FA Cup win would save this season now.

Mate. Your post does you credit. But IMHO the FA Cup will buy a modicum more patience. Nothing more.
