I will be attending a friendly, don't know why, but a friend wants to go, it was suppose to be my local MLS Team DC United against Juventus, but Juve cancelled their North American tour, to focus on Asia, so now it's PSG.

NEW SIGNING Brett Holman found the net to give ASTON VILLA a 2-1 win over Burton Albion.

Aussie Holman, signed from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, struck seven minutes from time after triallist Marcus Holness had cancelled out Robbie Weir’s opener for Burton.

Prem new boys READING thrashed AFC Wimbledon 7-0.

Simon Church led the way with a 15-minute hat-trick. Adam Le Fondre had notched twice to give Reading a 2-0 half-time lead, with the Royals’ other goals coming from Michail Antonio and Jordan Obita.

EVERTON were far too strong for Morecambe, running out 4-1 winners.

On target were Francisco Junior, Apostolos Vellios, Jack Rodwell and Victor Anichebe.

The match was a testimonial for Shrimps manager Jim Bentley and some charitable Everton defending allowed him to net a late consolation after coming on as a substitute.
