Oh I'm in on the joke. It's pathetic that the highlight of our season could be creeping above Spurs on the last day.
But given what a bloody mess this season has been and the way the press were sucking Spurs' cocks all the way up till Christmas while talking about us like relegation contenders, it would be a small and hilarious crumb of comfort. There haven't been many of those this year so I'll take what I can get.

Next game is a must lose then. Wouldn't it just be dragging the past achievements of the club through the mud to even turn up to such a tawdry, obviously financially motivated, farce like that? Better to draw a line under this non-event of a season than drag it on. Though I suppose this is ideal for Stan. Seen one European competition, seen them all.
