We were really good up until the 4th goal and then we kind of fell apart, I am just hoping it was down to tiredness and complacency, because that defending towards the end was a shambles. We have some really tough games coming up now back to back, need to tighten up for sure.

Overall it was a great result and decent display, still cant believe we are going into the New Year 7 points clear. COYG!!!

There’s been a clear upwards trajectory under Arteta, one valid criticism is that it wasn’t quick enough and there were certainly “Arteta Out” moments for most of us. It was Top 4 or bust for me this year, I don’t think anyone saw a title challenge happening, the gap was simply too big.
Close this one out and we have to be contenders.
Aye, me too. We have just gone up a level or two this season, we do at the moment look like legit title challengers. Whatever happens I think it's safe to say it will be a decent season, finishing in the top 3 will be a success for me, yes even from this current position.

Confidence is growing with every game and you can see that manifesting on the pitch. Nothing seems to faze this squad and the quality they keep displaying is incredible. There’s no luck here, we‘ve dismantled the majority of teams we’ve played. We should have beaten United and Southampton too. It’s only the Leeds game we looked below par.

Safe to say we’re challenging for the league now, whether we’ll see it through who knows. There’s so much football to be played and there will come a time where things get a bit ropey, as it always does, but for now let’s keep riding this wave one game at a time. Not bad for a team that most didn’t even have in the top 4.

The next 6 games involve fixtures against Newcastle, Spurs, United and City. If we come through this period in good shape I think we’ll be looking at a very realistic possibility of winning the league.

Watched highlights of these shit-kickers thrashing it around the pitch. Amazingly, there were a few moments where it looked like they had learned the very basics of football. Pace, width, direct football, the very, very basics. And some of these players (one or two) seem to understand. That's a very encouraging development for the PL. It's a long time coming.

I guess you have to say it's down to Arteta. Maybe this guy actually knows what he's doing, relatively speaking.
