I love how he reneges on everything he says

After the AGM he said we needed a centre back, there was no mention of injury etc the fact remains that even with everyone fit three centre backs is not enough, injuries are inevitable because of the lack of rotation.
Koscielnys tendon and Mertesackers lack of form are by products of lack of rotation

The man is either pathologically adverse to spending money or the board are being tight fisted yet again

It's getting close to the transfer window so he's preparing us for the inevitable lack of activity, or alternatively the signing of some nobody who will add nothing to the squad (perhaps on loan and maybe injured).

I think it's a happy (for them) case of both. Owners who don't invest coupled with a manager who refuses to pay the full price for a Mars bar. Also agree with the idea he doesn't give a shit about the fans. He doesn't. He cares about the club and treats the players like his kids. The fans are the unwashed masses who understand shit about shit in his eyes.
