Unless we get players that really gonna help and improve, then we should just pass. Put I was just being a bit too optimistic. I expect Wenger to add some pieces in January.

I was just thinking does this put a stop to our search for a marquee striker?
Who else is available and would challenge Giroud for starting berth? We absolutely cannot be going into season with just one proper striker!
I think the Flamini deal is our DM sorted. I was actually impressed with him today. But we are definitely a defender short (RB/CB) still. So fingers crossed it will be Ozil, plus striker plus defender.
