i would actually love it if we signed ryan shawcross, not because i rate him in any way at all...but because it would really upset Ramsey....might be a bit more eager to protect the back four if he knows behind him all the time is a man who gave him a career threatening injury and would only be too eager to do so again.....either that or Ramsey leaves....which would be my prefered outcome.

Mo Farah has revealed he has been tweeting Wayne Rooney to convince him to sign for Arsenal!

The England striker wants to leave Manchester United, and has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.

But with Arsenal seemingly now giving up in their pursuit of Liverpool’s Luis Suarez, Arsene Wenger is set to turn his attentions to Rooney.

And Farah, who won 5,000m gold at the World Athletics Championship on Friday night, admits he’s been in touch with the 27-year-old forward.

He told Weekend Sports Breakfast: “I’ve been tweeting at him telling him to join us! If we get Rooney I’ll be happy with that.

Got a lot of time and respect for Mo Farah but seriously?....what is he doing?

Don't get me wrong i am devestated that we haven't signed anyone, but i'm not desperate enough yet to want that scumbag anywhere near Arsenal him and his obscene wages.

As far as i am concerned i'd be massively disappointed if we signed any English player...if you can look at the team that played on wednesday night and tell me that is synonomous with quality than your either a terrible liar or you need your eyes examining.
