    Pacey, skillful, intelligent, creative.

it's interesting to read that ozil played on the left, very effectively, earlier in his career so it could be an option to make sure we don't lose too much from either player.
He popped up on the left a lot for Madrid from memory.

This is so great. I don't think even the penis extension clubs have made many signings of this calibre. Well done Arsenal and really happy for Wenger that he gets to work with a player he likes so much. Also should not underplay what a lure he is for players.

Yeah, our squad is still short in a few areas. But for a start I think most fans want to be consistently excited by our football again. Barring something stupid, there's no way Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere, Walcott and so on won't make that happen.

Interesting. We could find them both interchanging...to be honest, if Ozil can play on the left and put in the world class performances he is capable of then I am all for it.

Where does he play for Germany? In the hole behind Gomez with Muller & Poldi/Reus assisting either side?

The most expensive signing made by a premier league club was arsenal. The best signing made by a premier league club was arsenal. The most exciting signing made by a premier league club was arsenal.

Wenger pulled it off big time.

I thought you said it was Gazidis and not Wenger's fault if we didn't spend any money though

from all reports amd ozil own quotes it was one phone call with wenger that convinced him. Wenger has his faults but to convince a world class player to leave Madrid to play for him is stunning.
