The £70mill - £80mill is in the public crosshairs right now, the bean counters haven't had time to hide it or spirit it away like they did with the Ade and Kolo sales, remember we had £30mill to spend before those sales and we still had £30mill at the start of this window, so that transfer money vanished somewhere. If we wait until even January there's a great chance we'll only have the customary £30mill left. It's a clever amount, just short of being able to buy quality if the wages are factored in. Looks a good option has experience and quality not too injury prone, and will fit into our idea of wide player (capable of tippy tappy as well) and will allow a young winger like Ryo to be eased in. He is 31 though.
