Why aren't we in for Lemela and Willian?

If they pull off Willian and Lamela, it's shocking that we haven't at least gone for one of them. On the left we have Podolski, on the right we have Walcott, I don't see much depth apart from that. Also, the Ox is crocked for 4+ months and Gervinho has gone. Why aren't we after at least one? Spurs making a £30m bid for Willian while we make a panic bid of £10m for Cabaye just shows the difference of intent in the transfer market.

Totally agree, think ALL of there signings (Willem, Paulinho,Soldado etc) would walk into Wengers team. Does this mean a director of Footie as they now have along with a young, ambitious coach is the way to go. People talking about Freddy & Theo & Ramsey are ignoring what's going at the lane!

Totally agree, think ALL of there signings (Willem, Paulinho,Soldado etc) would walk into Wengers team. Does this mean a director of Footie as they now have along with a young, ambitious coach is the way to go. People talking about Freddy & Theo & Ramsey are ignoring what's going at the lane!

Because what's going on at the Lane is none of our concern, i can't think of anyone other than Cazorla or Koscielny who would get into the Spurs team at the moment....that they have strengthened very well is good for them but it's not really of much interest to me. We have spent too many years measuring our progress or lack there of against what they do.

Why should we play 30m for a player who has only ever played ukranian or russian football in Europe, for someone who presumably Spurs will play up front he isn't exactly prolific in front of goal either

Erik Lamela you'd think if we were interested in him we would have approached Roma about him when we sold them Gervinho.....why we aren't interested in him or the multitudes of other players who on the surface would improve our squad...ask King George III aka Wenger
