Going back to one of Jebus' points, I don't want to see many more unprotected chair shots to the head. Knowing what we do about Benoit of course, and with a concussion doing for Nowinski's career among others, I am more than happy to suspend my disbelief enough that a chair to the back will - kayfabe -have just as much impact on an opponent. Only in very expectional circumstances should they occur now. Hell,when HHH and Undertaker (yes, both the boss' son-in-law and most protected man in the business respectively) worked a bonce-shot in at WM last year, they were fined - that's how much it is now correctly frowned upon backstage.
During the latter part of the Attitude era, and even beyond it, you were even getting both competitors juicing in things like mid-card US title matches on Smackdown! How can blood have any meaning if it can be 'got' in matches like that?!
The PG rating certainly has its problems, but they are more with characterisation limits as opposed to anything in the ring. You still get kerrazy spots, but with - slightly- less of the risk.
In other news, DVDs arrived today. Now just got the issue of which one to watch first...
Have they banned chair shots to the head altogether? Can they still put their hands up to take some impact?
Unprotected ones are now an absolute no-no without being hit in the pocket afterwards. Hands-up? Not sure actually...

My working week started yesterday and has put my timing all wrong
Random draw, Eddie one came out first. Watched the first three matches so far, and I'd put them at very good (Scorpio), incredible (Malenko[!]), and excellent (Otani, the first WCW one on the list). Match V Flair coming up next, but I'll take that drain factor after the great start (Even Eddie was no miracle-worker)
