You've also got Cazorla and Giroud who should be better in their second seasons.

Of course we still need better players, 100%, this transfer window has been a disaster. But our existing players should/could also improve.
You are right that we can expect better seasons from last year's rookies but I hope you don't mean Cazorla was bad last year and Giroud even though he seemed to be sticking his tongue out more than sticking the ball in the back of the net, he still got 17 odd goals (if I am not mistaken) which is not a bad return although I still feel we need another high quality(better) striker

True, but when it comes to Arsenal we don't know how to play poker. We have a twat in Gazidis who flaunts our wealth to the world's media, and then we have inspectior clueless coming out with is dogs bollox of we 'havent got as much as you think', makes it all a mockery. I suggest they both take a lesson in how to conduct business from Daniel Levy and Baldini.

In his 5 years at Tottenham, Bale was surrounded by shit and had 4 different managers so unless Bale is a one off then I'm not sure how relevant management and playing with great players is. Of course it helps but fundamentally you need natural talent and a huge desire to be the best - if you have this you'll rise to the top no matter which players you play with or who you're managed by.
Bale is an exceptional talent, I don't really see too many at Arsenal, in addition how many kids have we had and how many have improved a lot...not many at all.

Isn't or is? I presume you meant is.

Did you think Bale was an exceptional talent 3 seasons ago? All I'm saying is young players can improve a lot in a short space of time, of course they can also stagnate. I still maintain that this transfer window has been a disaster and we need 3-4 world class players but I also don't think that it's wrong for Wenger to think that our players can get better.

No I'm not saying they were bad, I'm saying that it's not unreasonable to think that they could be better now that they have Prem experience.

What we have is publicly accessible in our annual accounts that we are legally obliged to file.

    Sorry yes I meant is

I didn't know much about him if I'm honest, I know they rated him very highly at Southampton though (but then they did Theo as well so....). I can see what you're saying but other than Oxo I don't really see players with huge potential like Bale has, Ramsey had a bad injury and that hindered him and perhaps he'll improve, the rest though I can't see it.

Wenger has been saying the same for years, it's helped him make excuses as to why we haven't signed quality, he doesn't want to spend money on players and this suits his agenda tbh.
