He shouldn't have used the word brainwashing as that really does insult the intelligence of fans and is offensive but he is sort of correct in that the media aren't helpful in their sensationalism. One week we're in absolute crisis and after a couple of wins against some average teams we're suddenly close to winning the title with a couple of additions.


Anyway OT, I've been hearing that apparently we have agreed a fee with RM for Di Maria, just trying to convince the player to make the move now. Would be a great transfer if we pull it off. Just need to add Bender and a striker and we can salvage the summer transfer window somewhat.

Why on earth would Di Maria come here?

If we had showed more intent and invested into weaker areas of the squad, I'd understand someone like Di Maria willing to come... As of now though, its really hard to see why someone would make a step down from Real to us.

why? because given who madrid have signed this summer, hes most likely dropped down the pecking order. we can offer him first team football, he owuld be pretty much a guarenteed starter, and champions league football in a world cup year.
