It was mentioned during the match tonight most of the top players (top as in everyone else bar Wenger's definition) will be away on Internationals during deadline day. This board has been so lucky in this window. Now they can claim they couldn't arrange medicals, couldn't find the player, so many possible excuses.

Wow.Sevilla have confirmed that Geoffrey Kondogbia is to buy-out the remainder of his four-year contract, which has a €20million (£17.2m) release clause. The midfielder is now widely expected to join Monaco. A Sevilla statement read:
Geoffrey Kondogbia is already history at Sevilla FC. The French international has officially informed the club that he will unilaterally rescind his contract.
It's a weird situation in Spain, I think the players have to actually go to a bank and give the money for it to be then transferred to the selling club.
At least that was mentioned for when seemed Spuds would pay Soldado's buyout clause.
I doubt it's coming out of his own pocket, clearly the shady fuckers at Monaco are footing the bill.
After watching Wenget's post match interview, it seems even more unlikely that we'll sign anyone really good. Sounded like someone who has realised he has fucked up. I think he'll go for volume again like two seasons ago - get the fans talking a bit about the new faces before the novelty wears off. Then Wenger will pray the first-team from last year stay fit and improve.
I think reading in anything to what WUMger says about transfers is pointless. I'm not sure his triple negatives can be untangled at this stage of his life.
