But that was only after the waiting period was observed tbf to him.
And then with new signings, you must go through the adaptation period.
And don't forget as well yknow that we as well have Santos to come back from injury and he can also play up front.
One thing's for sure, the sacking period has taken a long time.
Wasn't he in some kind of conference in Europe when we signed the last-minute 5?
Do you reckon he texted his negotiations?
"arteta offer a paycut lol"
Let me guess, we have £35mill to spend... yawn. We run the risk of this moderate resurgence being completely derailed should we pick up a few (more) key injuries. We still don't have the necessary strength in depth in key areas, particularly up front. If we want to build on the last few months then we have to buy and we have to buy quality. But we won't. Wenger has an almost unbelievable blind spot when it comes to Chamakh. He seems to think this guy is an option when everything Chamakh does proves beyond doubt he's no option at all and in reality his presence means we're a man short. I don't think we necessarily need a big name, just a solid an proven goalscorer who will give us a threat up front should RvP get injured. Then we get rid of Chamakh (for free if need be) add Park and we have a couple of emergency strikers that might be the difference between sustaining the recovery or collapsing backwards. I really hope they don't fuck around this transfer window - but they will.
