Still a bit too early for this talk. We had tight games last season where we got a late winner or goal and I think Wenger had the says to back it up as well. A couple o seasons ago, Bendy was good at tlresfuing points for us as well.

But we haven't passed December yet and it's early days. I'm little worried about the team because games are getting tougher and tougher our performances are starting to dip. That has always been the trend to our season. It's never a sudden fall from grace. When we're playing well we don't just suddenly crash and burn. It's a slow process wheals starts with sluggish games and the team looking less sharp. It's been a couple of games now and we've looked sluggish. The creativity has dried up and I don't want to get to situation where we dob't know where our next goal will come from. We've depended on RVP for too long and nobody else has stepped up their goal game.

Wenger will have to rotate the team a little. Bring in Rosicky and give the Ox and Benni a few games. Grinding out results is good, but we need a few playere to hit form.

I'm concerned about our over-reliance on RvP. We're an injury to him away from mid-table which, given his injury record, is a little alarming.
In past seasons we've often crumbled under pressure, there are signs that we've getting better in that regard - quite a few times now we've either gone behind or been pegged back and gone on to win games. Long way to go but we're looking like we'll battle all the way for a top 4 spot and that's all you can ask.

We are a very ordinary team without RVP and Chesney. Nobody else stands out as quality and that is a worry when you're trying to overtake Chelsea (who'll spend £50m next month) and Spurs....yes, Spurs. I just hope they bottle it as usual.

Pretty much agree, those are our two top quality players the rest are OK but nothing to harp on about.

The fact people go on about cr*p like Koscielny says a lot about the quality we possess at the moment IMO.

We've sold all our other top class players, if either of the above two get injured we're in serious trouble.

According to some Koscielny has been our best defender....I agree with you though Vermaelen is pretty good so he's another player who's important...we've been a lot better since he's been fit.

Koscielny is average at best though IMO, a player made to look good by players like Vermaelen, just look how awful he is when Vermaelen isn't around...also cost us a goal against Man City.

We've had a good run coinciding with the return of Vermaelen and form of RVP (and brilliance of Chesney), but Koscielny is nothing special...he's an accident waiting to happen as we've seen many times before and will no doubt see again sometime.

Koscielny was hit and miss last season but we've certainly seen more hits this year.
