Alex Ferguson. Barring a couple of players, their squad is shit

This offering players aged 30 and over only a one year deal is another reason why we are so shit

    I'd take Nani

Not sure about Nani, he has a lot of ability but just seems to be a bit of a fairweather. If Fergie couldn't turn him into a mini-Ronaldo then I doubt Wenget can.

Wenger keen to bolster Arsenal squad but urges caution in transfer market

"I think, now, we are in a stronger situation where we can spend some money," he told the club's official website.

"We went out to spend money at Christmas but we didn't find the players.

"I also believe we have to be faithful to what this club is about, which is to give a chance to the young players we educate - that is vital. Therefore [we should only] bring in the players who really give us a plus.

"If we find tomorrow a player of top, top, top quality, we will take him."

Same old same old , not only do we need players (not one player ) , but what are you being paid £7m a year for then ffs

True. A whopping salary and a worldwide scouting network and he couldn't land a single player? If that is true it actually demonstrates more incompetence and an inability to operate in todays transfer market than holding a belief that what you currently have in your team will somehow work out,

I actually agree with what he says, and i believe in the same principles.

But firstly, you know it's guff, and an obvious tact used every year around season ticket renewal time. This is the same PR bullshit. We will get to the summer, and they will not spend money, and we will sell our better players. AGAIN.

Secondly, the beliefs he has about the current team and his ideology on youth development has been shown to be a failure.

Arsenal never used to publicise whether they spend and whether they had cash to do it. That website is a filthy piece of ahit which should only be used for the fixture list, and tickets if you can be fucked to buy them.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
