You can see why the other board members didnt want him ahead of the Yank. This guy actually cares about what happens on the field whilst the Yank just falls in line with the rest of the board and lines his pockets whilst the team suffers

Would this be the Chelsea that have a new manager every year - more than that sometimes - and have missed out on the title for years to manu, despite their huge spending? It is nice for chavs who had never seen silverware for decades, but I think any soul that their club had has been sold to the devil.
Don't get me wrong, I want us to win silverware, but I want us to win it without a bad taste in the mouth of buying it with money we don't have, plus acquired from a very dubious source.
Chelsea failed cos they (the club and the owner) are stupid, it has nothing to do with how much money the owner has. Having a russian owner doesnt mean we will follow their footstep.

Yes the Chelsea that doesnt stand for failure whereas we seem to accept it.
You cant win the title every season but they have still won trophies regularly. I believe Wenger has only been successful in 5 of the 14 odd seasons hes been here
