Bayern :haha:.
They should kill themselves if they lose.
City are on the verge of being better than Arsenal.
They are already better because they have title credentials whereas all we have is a five point lead at the top of the table.

City are beating Bayern s 1st team with their own B team. Shows that Bayern aren't the Titans they are made up to be. At this level you can be as good as you believe you are.

we won't find anything new out. we know city can beat the top teams but until they learn to beat the other teams away from home they aren't a threat. you can't win the league by winning your home games alone
Are they giving out 6 points for a win?
Obviously not, but it's a good way of telling how good each side is, a win for either side is likely to point to one being better than the other this season.

We're not even at Christmas yet and despite not having performed away they are touching distance away from us, they clearly have the quality and the squad and they'll only get better. The team that wins the game at the weekend will get a massive boost, the other one will begin to have doubts. Psychologically it's very important.

Leverkusen are a shocking side, any team that loses 5-0 to a Man U team as bad as this shouldn't even be in the CL knockouts.

Let's see what happens on Saturday shall we. Man City have a new manager and sometimes it takes a bit of time for things to settle down, he's a good manager though and will probably get it right.
Man U have a new manager too, but he had a shocking summer in the transfer market and has a pretty average team bar a couple players. I don't rate him that highly either, Martinez is doing a better job in 6 months at Everton than he did in 10 years.

i know all teams lose. however you can't really argue one team is better then other here. city have lost to sunderland, cardiff, villa, chelsea away, and drawn with southampton and stoke away. thats not the mark of a great team at all
united on the other hand, have lost one more game then city have. for a team thats great and a team thats rubbish that seems a bit close. united have actually got a better away record then city have. with 2 losses compared to city's four.

Yeah, really looking forward to the game. Mostly depends on if Aguero starts, if he does, City have a chance to get a few goals.
I also haven't seen Messi play in a live game for a while, and I just saw that little highlight vid of him just now, hope he's on show tomorrow !

Yeah I agree, with Aguero City are a different proposition, he's a brilliant footballer and at his best unstoppable.
He's been improving but people have been having doubts about whether Barca are a better team without him citing the better distribution of goals when he doesn't play as not all attacks are focussed around him.

If Cty are to beat Barcelona they will need to score plenty. Who's your money on MS?
Tonight? I could see City winning but probably 2-2 draw. Barca overall.
I think PSG (well, Zlatan) will win both legs.
As Maccy said about City, you get so much space in between the defence and midfield and Barca have Messi, Iniesta and Sanchez operating there. Fernandinho should shore them up slightly but Yaya, Kompany and Demichelis can be statuesque when they're faced with speed and guile. So. you'd expect a Barca on top form to really hurt them there. But Barca always have disappointing results in England. Hope it's a great game though.

I would've gone for a draw had Aguero been fit, but I can't see City either outscoring or scoring the same as Barca
Let's see how Cesc does, supposedly Tata's getting the best out of him :coffee:
2-2 I reckon for City-Barca.
Cesc is going to put in a motm performance by pubbing out the whole game. He seemed to play well against Man City. Before they had Ł93m strikers on the bench.

They keep highlighting Demichelis as the standout weak link. The narrative was set before the Chelsea game that he was the odd one out, so he was blamed for everything that night. Even though it was Yaya, Nastasic, Kompany and Zabaleta that were having rings run around them.
