If they play Real again they’d probably lose that tie, plus in terms of attacking threat Roma are a harder proposition than Juve, and that’s before we get to Bayern, City, Barcelona and PSG.

Last night Juve failed to punish Spurs for Kamikaze defending in the first half. But players like Sanchez and Davies will get roasted alive by better players.

Is it galling that Spurs recovered from going 2-0 down in the way we blatantly wouldn’t, for me not really. Us being shit doesn’t suddenly make them great.

Pochetinno has done an excellent job with them, but ultimately even with a world class striker they’ve choked themselves in two league challenges when the heat was on.

And more importantly how long do you expect they will keep Harry Kane?. I understand the annoyance they are a better team and have a better manager than us. But ultimately it means very little when in terms of trophies they will come up short

Sickening watching other English teams outperforming us in the CL, Wengers laughable comments about qualifying for the Cl for x consecutive years (glad he finally can't harp on about that anymore) was a nonsense because in how many of those years were we actually competitive.

Other sides that haven't been in it as long have looked far more convincing and progressed more than we have.

Wengers record in Europe is amateurish and embarrassing to be honest, all those years in Europe and not one success to show for it.

Aye, right now we don't deserve to be in it and have no right to be in it.

We are clearly a tier below the sides including the English ones participating in CL. The English sides in it right now are in it to win it. I totally understand that it's unlikely that the Spuds, Man United or Chelsea will win it but they will certainly make a credible fist of it.

I personally think City are one of the red hot favourites this year for CL. Outside of Barca and even that is debateable, there is not a better team in CL this season than City.
