As I say i think Liverpool are doing absolutely the right thing, they have him tied down to a long term contract and i think he will be the one who backs down....

Exactly my point and selling him to one of the teams rivalling you for 4th place will make it even harder.

It's fair to say if he does leave it won't be to us (though I don't think he will leave either).

One that isn't going to miss the first 6 games, isn't being banned every 5 minutes and doesn't think it's OK to walk away as soon as he feels like it regardless of his contract or how long he's been there.

Again sorry to be pedantic but Rivals for 4th place would suggest Liverpool have a chance of getting 4th they don't

I agree with the stance they are taking over Suarez, and to be honest with the sheer averageness of their squad and their manager without Suarez they could flirt with relegation....that's why it's important they hang onto him and they recognise that.

The point is they clearly think they do (they've pretty said as much) and that's what matters here, not whether they realistically have a chance or not.

Let's be honest here, have you seen our squad, it's pretty weak looking as well, there's not much quality in there either.

I agree, it's great to see a player being forced to stay when he just thinks he can kick up a fuss to get his move.
