The fact we are going into the season with him as first choice shows you how far we have fallen. He wouldn't get in any other top 10 PL's team IMO, would struggle to make the bench at any of the top 7 clubs.

The right back situation is an absolute mess for sure.

And with only a few days to go now looks like it wont be resolved. Would probably need at least 2 of the 4 current ones (Bellerin & AMN) to leave and its all gone very quiet on that front.

Similar to the striker situation, except I think we can make do with Auba and Laca for a season and then look to bring in a striker next summer.

Ronaldo available? might be a little expensive and not sure he would be too interested in not playing in the CL.

Well cannot see AMN being sold in this window so if we can't get a new right back we'll have to just tell him put up or shut up he won't be played in midfield whilst we have two 'world class' players in Xhaka and Elmney in front of him

We had 200m at the start of this window but our braniacs have squandered most of it on a short CB and giving Xhaka an improved deal, retaining El Neny and various other dumb decisions. I still would have preferred Zidane. Just imagine having that lean dapper fellow on our sidelines. The push we would get from that alone would be worth 80m in shirt sales. Id probably buy all 3 with his name on the back. The president of Rwanda would also be back in our happy camp too
