I know I have been a strong advocate for AW's departure, but surely he has to be given a considerable amount of credit for our current state. I think he is where he wants to be now with this squad, but must shed the few dead weight and sign a few quality players this summer (Podolski, et al). Do that and we should be able to not only challenge for the title next season, but win it (yea I said it).

    This is the ideal senario.

I want us to back it up with a good finish to the season though. Can see us dropping points, but hopefully it'll be of little damage.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

The important thing, for me, is that we build on it. We're looking like a good team again. A team which could sustain a serious challenge. The key word there being team. We beat City on Sunday because we're a team, they're just a group of mercenary players who have been chucked together. Yeah, they'll win a lot of games because they're good players but it takes more than that to make a good team. If we have another car crash of a summer and struggle again at the start of next season then we really are in Groundhog Day and Wenger should do the honourable thing (although I still fear things would get worse, the board aren't going anywhere). To sack him now when we're building up some serious momentum would be mad IMO.

If the rumours of our early transfer activity are true, then all signs are positive.

Apparently Mertersacker is close to full training as well, which is nice.

This, Its about Building on this not just be happy with this then not doing shite about it. This is where ambtion comes into it. At least with Poldoski we have a player who wants to play for the shirt not for the money. Lets hope the quality player who follow him are the same.

Not sure AW being the right man for the job still but if he is our manager come august ill back him into the new season if we look like we are going into the right direction then.

Ah, I forget, 3 Emirates Cups, 4th place trophies and also mental stability. SAF should be ashamed of himself and try to copy Arsene for his 'numerous' achievements.

Last heard, Mourinho was calling Arsene to tell him how AW is actually the 'special one'... the one with special needs, that is!

    Mourinho, special one?

He's on the verge of presiding over one of the worst league collapses in a long time.

Don't worry it will be blamed on Uefa, Spanish fa for favouring Barca rather then real slipping up.

2 CL with two different clubs, league championships and currently STILL leading the la liga by 4 points and not to mention, won Copa del Rey last season. He just needs to not lose to Barca in their game in a few weeks and they will win the la liga.

Anyone who'd want Mourinho as manager is clearly a glory hunter.
