Am I right in saying Podolski plays as a striker for his current club but out wide for Germany? (he can't have got a 1 in 2 int. record playing out wide though surely?)

I wonder what this means for Theo. Wenger obviously sees him as a regular in the first team (and rightly so) but we've adding a more attacking player into the line-up might change Theo's role a bit.

Until the window closes or both Theo and RVP put pen to paper, we won't know.

I think RvP, Theo and the Podster will be first choice. Park and Chamakh are on their way which leaves us Campbell, Gervinho and the Ox as the back up

He does. Klose usually started for Germany up front (not sure if that will be the case this summer) - Germany score a bag load of goals.

Don't get too excited. His record isn't as good as it seems. He started playing for Germany in 2004. If you take out the 4 goals he's scored against San Marino or the Faroe Islands or Saudi Arabia every time he's faced them, he's scored 2 in 89 games.
