Some of these Windies batsmen have great averages. Darren Bravo has an average of 51. Edwards (now out) had 50. Chanderpaul, as we know, has 50 odd. That's 150 runs right there. How do they end up getting battered and maintain these stats? They must've had one series against Bangladesh that went under the radar in which they had a few 500 partnerships.

They're bowling so much slower than usual. Everyone's about low 80s. Against India they were sending them down at 94 mph and at the ribcage.
There's no substitute for genuine pace. Although swing in overcast conditions might give it a run for its money. Hasn't been doing enough for me.
