You want people who want to stay, not pressed slaves. If Norwich now have trouble getting a decent manager and go down, then it will be no less than they deserve.

Not so sure. He sounds like a total, utter and undeniable **** to me. In the end, even if people are screwing you over, if you do things the right way yourself you win in the long run. Always bad when good will gets wasted, I'm talking more about the fans than the club. These days most club execs stink but staying loyal to the fans and doing things the right way is a better way to go.

Entitled - not so sure that under European law it is not a restraint of trade. In any case, just because there is a line in a contract does not mean it is sensible to enforce it.
