Kagawa would have done more than sell shirts
his old form is gone. He has had 3 knee surgeries the last 3 seasons. He is slow on the tackle and has been injury prone himself. If you havent watched him play the last two years, you need to stop talking about "Essien walking in and improving our side" because he is looking like a finished fooballer.
Flamini was an inferior version of that and also had a bad knee injury.
Yeah right, also bricks, clothes pegs and blood diamonds
The guy would have been a very decent signing but once again we flirt with interest. . .go in and then pull out again like a bottleless vitgin, too frightened to get his nuts wet. . .
This more than anything pisses me off. . .how many players will we show interest in, and not do anything. . .the list is getting longer, MVila, Giourd, Allfellay. . .cant wait to see who we miss out on this year
http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/...er-league-moveAthletic Bilbao star Fernando Llorente has hinted at a future move to the Premier League.
The Spain striker revealed ex-Liverpool players Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso have highly recommended English clubs because of their passionate fans.
Llorente told reporters: “I might end up playing in England, who knows? At the moment I'm at Athletic Bilbao, but who knows later.
“Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres have told me about the immense respect that the fans have for their players there.”
The Spaniard, who is currently with Spain’s Euro 2012 squad preparing for the nation’s first match on Sunday, has long been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Reports towards the end of May suggested Spurs’ north London rivals Arsenal are also keen on the Bilbao forward.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Juventus are four more teams rumoured to be keen on a player capped 20 times for his country heading into the Euros.
FL week is going strong
Yes he did, but that was the deal to join and he agreed, he signed a 4 year deal. He played ok but with 3 years left on his contract I'd tell him to swivel for it, we're not a charity and he signed a deal and at 30 he's not exactly marketable.
Might seem harsh, but we've been screwed over by players enough times, time to get tough with these contracts, had we been we might not have some unproven nobodies on small fortunes.
The clubs priorities are all messed up. We've got players that are going into their final contract year. What the hell is this?
