My point exactly. The women's game is severely lacking genuinely great players or sustained depth.
And the ones that have the talent are either always retiring (Henin/Clijsters), injured/sporadically interested (Serena/Venus) or lack the mentality to stay at the top (Kuznetsova/Ivanovic). Azarenka and Kvitova seemed to have something about them with excellent runs of form recently, but it wouldn't be surprising to see them crumble in the near future.
More importantly, my predictions are about to come true.
Still 3 matches to go admittedly and Rafa has 2 of them but hes more or less won that and il doubt we'll see a shcok in the womens as no ones heard of the italian dude playing
