the reason I dont rate nasri is hes not even good at the tippy-tappy stuff. just does a bunch of unimaginative, cowardly back passes, he has no vision whatsover with his passing frankly. so if he cant be that be direct in taking players on...no, cant do that, too weak. score and assist then....nopey.

now hleb was a player who was good at the link play. absolutely superb. we'll look back one day on the hleb-flamini-cesc-rosicky and realise they were the only wenger side that could be mistaken for barcelona in the way they used the ball

We were incredibly good for the first half of that season. Easily the best and most consistent football we've played since the Invincibles.

But naturally of course we fucked it up as usual and lost half of that midfield in the summer, then we were back to square one.

We lost Rozza and RVP on the 2nd half of the season, Eboue took over the right flank and the rest was history.
