GARY CAHILL'S move to Arsenal hit a stumbling block as Bolton knocked back the chance to take Nicklas Bendtner in part exchange.

The Gunners are favourites to land the £17million-rated England defender, although Tottenham are also keen.
But Wanderers boss Owen Coyle turned his nose up at the chance to take Denmark international Bendtner, who looks surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
