RIO FERDINAND is being showered with abuse on Chelsea FC’s website.
Angry Blues fans are getting away with uncensored attacks on The Shed’s message board, calling the Manchester United ace a ‘cretin’, ‘dim t**t’ and a ‘disgrace’ on the official Blues site.
He has been targeted for supporting his brother Anton in the race case with John Terry — and for slamming Ashley Cole on Twitter, which could lead to an FA charge.
Anti-racism campaigner Luther Blissett said: “The posts have been going on all weekend and it’s strange no one has been doing anything to stop it.
“Your official website is supposed to reflect on what the club are thinking so people could think it’s the view of the club.”
PFA chairman Clarke Carlisle added: “You’d expect it to be moderated but even a moderated site can’t quell free speech.”
Ferdinand endorsed a message from a friend branding Cole a ‘choc ice’ after he backed Chelsea team-mate Terry in court.
But he insisted it was not racist and was a term for someone being fake.
