It wasn't just the Weymouth waters that were a little bit salty yesterday as Ben Ainslie, chasing his fourth gold medal, closed the gap on leader Jonas Hogh-Cristensen in the Finn class.

Hogh-Christensen claimed Ainslie made contact with one of the buoys as he rounded on another mark of yesterday's second leg. To say Ainslie disagrees would be understatement.

"They made a big mistake because I'm angry and you don't want me angry," he says in his post-race interview.
