That is meant to be true, but no one knows the exact details of it.
For example some reports have said should another club bid for the player then the clause is void. Also it would be sketchy which clause would take precedence, the one in Allen's contract or the agreement with Rodgers; the agreement may not even be legally binding anyway.
In any case, if we were to come in with enough money (which we just love to do) they were never going to say no.
Of course it hasn't been completed yet so I'm not going to count chickens, but I can't see how we're not going to win the league this season
