We've got limited squad numbers. With unlimited squad numbers I'd consider a pay as you play - with the current rules, too much of a risk.
I would love him to join us on a pay as your play deal. If he does good, we win, if not, we dont lose a lot. He is a champion player and even if he has a 10% chance of being fit as before, I think its worth taking a punt on a pay as you play deal.
Some may point my angst against Rosicky but Rosicky was never on a pay as you play deal and many Arsenal supporters rated him to be world class
