RM have really done well here. It just goes to show how much of a benefit it is for the selling club with 2 teams competing. Looks to me as though Arsenal have done the sensible thing and bowed out when the numbers involved are getting silly. I mean, it's a loan signing, not a marquee transfer.
Liverpool can spuff a load of money on the loan and he can be forced to play with the likes of Lucas (
) and a 54-yo Gerrard in the Europa League and then go back to RM for a cushy bench seat whilst earning a fuckload. Everyone's a winner except football.
