I'm not saying this version of events is true either, but some people seem to be made up their minds about Jack and his friends. It's likely that they did play a substantial part in the fight, but that doesn't mean the other side were the innocent party in this case.The Jack Wilshere story (from a very reliable source)
He was out with his mates the night of the Blackburn game in August. He tries to chat up this Doris (who ended up with the broken elbow) basically telling her to ditch the group she was with the join him and his mates “‘cos that’s where the money is!!”, she blew him out and throughout the night their paths crossed and various similar plesantries were exchanged including (why are you with the poof brigade) and he is blown out everytime by this girl. Outside the club, where all parties are very drunk and do not remember what happened, the girl’s group of friends start a row with Jack’s group and Jack walks away until one of his friends is felled and getting a serious kicking. Jack runs back in a pushes the bloke kicking his mate, who falls into someone else who falls into the girl who breaks her elbow.
