Whether he likes it or not he will be judged by the number of goals he scores, he's a striker at the end of the day brought in to provide goals, goals we've lost due to selling RVP (along with Podolski).

His touches are nice and effective and he's excellent in the air, but his attempts at goal have been poor, he needs to get a goal and start scoring pretty quickly as the pressure is really building.

His other play may be fantastic, but that's not what we're looking for, what we need is goals and that's why we bought him (his record in his last season in France).

Shame that knob Gervinho didn't put it on the plate for him yesterday....ah well.

I don't think he lacks confidence, BTW. I don't think he's someone who is going to struggle under pressure. I think he's had one very good chance and a few snap shots thus far. He hasn't missed loads of sitters, which some are accusing him of. He just needs fumble one in off his knee, and the rest will come hopefully.
