He didn't give a card to Cleverly after his first foul after his yellow card, and gave Wilshere the same leniency. So I don't see how we can criticise the referee for not sending Cleverly off. And did the people who think RVP should have been booked for kicking the ball away saying the same thing when he was sent off for us against Barca?

No one really believes we didn't get a result today because of the officiating, don't take the bait.

Yes he made couple of mistakes but nothing major.

Cleverley should have been sent off but was warned. He did the same with Wilshere so cant complain. Difference is they have the best manager in the world, he saw a problem and fixed it. We have an awlful one.

The offside thing before the 2nd goal, yes it was offside but the ball went for a corner afterwards therefore the offside decision is null and void. We should have done much better than to let their smallest player get a free header

The penalty was spot on as well

No point analysing this game because it didn't involve us, we weren't in it. Walk in the park for Utd, they didn't get out of first gear. Should have been five or six but they were sloppy. A late and meaningless flourish from us made it look unreasonably respectable. Gulf in quality, tactics and desire between these teams. We can't be viewed as a serious football team if we let individuals like Santos wear the shirt.

Like you said we didn't turn up and for that to happen in such a big game is borderline criminal, the players the manager all underprepared, lacking motivation hunger and fight.
