because we are no longer a threat, or a challenge. the way to beat us was set in stone years ago and he has stuck faithfully to that blueprint successfully. thats why he called it a 'strange game' and 'nothing like previous games' because the dynamics have changed and they kick off expecting the three points, rather than hoping so.

Yeah and the fans also see us as their bunnies as well. I have a few United supporting mates and the lack of banter about this fixture was unusual. It's genuinely not a big fixture for them anymore, particuarly with City in the picture now.

That's pure speculation, they didn't win it so that can't be proved, in addition Eduardo was highly overrated considering the amount of goals he'd scored for us....up until Christmas he'd hardly featured.

Saying should is all very good, but they didn't which in the end means something within the setup wasn't good enough, the only thing we could have won was the CC cup a few years back, because we had the stronger team, not convinced about the rest at all.
My point was he assembled a teqam that was good enough, them not winning is a diffrent thing altogther.

Why would you care if Spuds got him and Chelsea lost him.

    1. snatos is a **** for swapping shirts. wait till the end of the fucking game, dont do it at half time. at half time your focus should be on how to improve and get back in the game, dont give a fuck about the opposition no matter who it is.

    2. gallas has a strong mentality? yeah he showed that by crying in the centre circle during a game

    3. joey barton? piss off

When someone says we should buy Joey Barton, you stop reading there.

So if you think he is shit, why does it matter where he is put, he'll always be no good in you eyes.

I'm not sure that logic works. It was 10 different games although we did have a similarly tough start.
This year we've already played the 3 top sides - 2 away - and only got one point from those 3 games.
Last year we lost away at Blackburn, ManYoo and Spurs and at home to Liverpool in the first 10 games.
This year we've drawn too many but a point away at Stoke and City isn't a disaster losing away at Utd and home to Chelsea (who are clearly a very different side to last year - our 10th game then was the 5-3 at Stamford Bridge but they were all over the shop for the first half of last season)

Last year we had 5 home and 5 away games in the first 10, this year it's been 4 at home and 6 away and overall, having played the top 3 sides (who will certainly all be top 3 come May) this year has been a tougher start than last year.

Early season we were looking pretty good. Now we're not. If we can recapture our early season form then overall I think we'll do better this year, points wise. If not then probably not. But 10 games is too early to be that sure IMO.

Last year we also had the top scorer in the league playing for us...as well as battling midfielder who assisted him several times and a winger who started games and looked like he'd sign an extension with us.
