Don't think he was too bad tonight, but maybe that was because his mistakes could only lead to a threat on a wing and not to the heart of the defence where it's more noticeable. Farfans shot was going in anyway so I'm not sure he could have done a lot there other than throw himself at it and hope for the best.

I just sigh whenever I see some big 6 footer chasing down lost causes. Get him in the box and pub balls in there for him, he could be quite effective that way.

having that middle man that can link play is very important to our attack which he can do but if he drops deep, he struggles to get back into the move. he was quite isolated tonight with no support around him so again he was chasing lost causes. he needs to improve on the deck too as he won't be getting great crosses in the air every game.

there are players everywhere that can hurt our defence when they play like this but at least the hope of success would stay alive longer in the europa; we've known since the start of this seasons cl we are not winning it. there's definitely no point in that.
