My point was, you say Wenger has control of the club etc. If he did/does, then does he have the power to tell Share holders who to sell their shares to, did he tell Dein to bring Stan and the russian to the club, despite the fact he hates the billionaire and always had.
Someone like Stan who loves his money will never let Wenger tell him what to do where money is involed. On the Pitch hells yes he is responsible and no one else. And when i say on the pitch i mean with what we have and how we play.
When it comes to transfers he and the board are one in the same. He may not spend the money but they are happy for him not to. Like you say the sooner they all clear out the better.

Wenger's self-perpetuating fuck ups are nothing compared to the tedium of an Ach v Charlie "never said" conversation.

We used to kill ourselves with the player who won the pen not being able to take it. Now we kill ourselves in a different way. Just makes my head spin. Wenger should have been barking the order onto the pitch, let Giroud take it. Arteta should have figured it out himself, or at least looked to the line where our on the ball manager had it figured. Only Arsenal could go from hat trick hero to the stand out player of the match having to explain himself. You get the impression that if the list hadn't been updated, maybe through an administrative oversight, Lauren would have been flown in to take it. Is anyone else getting this, seeing how crazy it is? Or has Wenger finally driven me mad as well?
